Diane Roman Inamahoro

My name is Diane! I am from Burundi and I have been living in Cluj-Napoca since 2012. I am an open-minded person; I like to meet new people and make new friends. I am optimistic but realistic. I believe in the goodness of people and I am aware of the challenges and obstacles that seem to make this life so complex and difficult.

After living abroad for 10 years, I have come to realize that every person has a story. A story that is worth sharing and has some wisdom and lessons to learn from. The choice to share it is up to each and every one of us and I have chosen to share mine.

During the 9 years of motherhood and 10 years of marriage, I have grown as a person and learned to adapt to life’s circumstances. My ambitions have not disappeared, they have been transformed and have given me new perspectives: that you can do a lot with what life offers you.

I am sharing my story with you, the story of a Burundian woman who never made plans to have a mixed family or to live outside her native country. I share with you a life experience that has taught me that action always makes a difference and consistency is the path to success according to your own desires.
